Plain English, and short. Buying ScreenToast means you agree to what is below.

What you are buying

A ScreenToast Pro subscription, which lets you export from ScreenToast for personal or commercial work, including work you are paid for. Recording and editing are free and stay free without a subscription.

Pro is billed either yearly ($59 a year) or monthly ($7 a month), plus any tax that applies where you live. It renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; Pro then stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and is not renewed after that.

Updates

Every update we publish is included while your subscription is active, at no extra cost. That is not a promise of any particular feature or release schedule.

What you may not do

• Share, resell, sublicense or publish your licence key.
• Share one subscription across a team or organisation.
• Decompile or modify the app to remove the licence check.

Anything you record, edit and export is yours. We claim no rights over your content and never see it.

Refunds

14 days, no questions asked. Email support@screentoast.com and we refund it. You do not have to explain, and we will not try to talk you out of it. The app is free to record and edit with precisely so you can decide before paying.

Payment

Dodo Payments is the Merchant of Record for every sale. They handle the transaction, tax and invoicing; their terms cover the payment itself.

What we do not promise

ScreenToast is provided as it is. We have tested it and we use it ourselves, but we cannot promise it is free of defects or fit for a particular purpose. Keep your own copies of anything that matters. A screen recorder is not a backup system.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here removes rights you have under consumer law where you live.

If we stop

If ScreenToast is ever discontinued, we stop billing you. Exports are ordinary MP4, MOV and ProRes files, and projects are plain folders, so nothing you make is trapped in our format.

Changing these terms

If these terms change, the version you subscribed under applies until the end of the period you have paid for. We will email you before any change to the price of your plan takes effect, and you can cancel before it does.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, where the developer is based.
