About ScreenToast
ScreenToast is made by Himanshu Singh, an independent developer who builds native apps for the Mac. It is a small, one-person product: the person who writes the code also writes the blog and answers the support email.
Why it exists
Making a short product demo on a Mac usually means recording a take, then spending an hour in an editor adding zooms, cleaning up the cursor and hiding anything private. ScreenToast does that polishing for you after you stop recording, and leaves every zoom and cut editable so the result is still yours.
It runs entirely on your Mac. Recordings, transcripts and captions never leave it, and there is no account to create.
How the blog is written
Every article on the ScreenToast blog is written by Himanshu. Claims about ScreenToast are checked against the app itself. Prices and features of other apps are checked on each vendor's own website, and the article says on which date. If something has changed since, email the address below and the article gets corrected.
Other apps
Himanshu also makes DiskMac, a disk space analyzer and cleaner for Mac developers.
